I was at ION orchard attending an event with friend and something caught my eyes when walking pass the Awfully Chocolate shop. They have Crepe cake!I bought 1 slice to try!The cake was chocolaty enough but they are overly generous with the cocoa powder. It makes the cake a mess to eat and thirsty cos the powder dries up the tongue. But overall I still like it.Dark chocolate tartThis was ok, nothing to shout about. I better stick to eating their choco cake next time.

Nowadays the cake trend is towards mille crepe. A number of new cake shops sells mille crepe from Lady M to Classic Cakes. Even Awfully Chocolate is offering mille crepe in chocolate flavour. It costs $9 a slice. It looks not bad. But the taste between the chocolate and the crepe is not too balance. The crepe tastes a bit too dry and the chocolate has a too powdery taste. Overall it tastes a bit off.

Awfully chocolate star item to me would be its hei ice cream. Thick and luscious spoonfuls of chocolate ice cream that is velvety and full of chocolatey taste. Best to share as it may get rather jelat and sinful after a few spoons Would never fail to get a scoop or two of it when I am at Ion. Prices are also affordable as well. Love the chocolate truffle cubes as well as the cupcakes but nothing beats the ice cream. Lastly, the packaging is really adorable as well!

So that's just everything stated in black and white. Chocolate Rum and CherryDark pitted cherries laced with rum in our chocolate cakei loved this. the cherries were aplenty and they were LACED not soaked in rum. even a non alcoholic like me could take it. and in good quantities as well. White Chocolate Butterscotch Block A unique combination of white chocolate and sweet-salty butterscotch with a dark chocolate swiss roll the white chocolate was mousse like. light on taste but the heaviness of cream hits later. the sweet saltiness didn't come through. it was a lot of butterscotch that overwhelmed everything else. except the dark chocolate. it was a good balance for the sweet factor. but yummy cakes! me likes

Nothing can stop my craving from having my dose of sweet and cold dessert! Shopping at Ion , I walked past Awfully Chocolate with a bright contrast of black and whites (mainly whites as the friendly staff were all dressed in), while waiting for hubby, I ordered : Hei Ice Cream and Dark Chocolate TrufflesHei Ice Cream is their trademark super premium dark chocolate, it’s very rich, smooth and dense. Also due to the lower sugar content, makes it decently healthy (who am I kidding, but I’m sold!) than regular icecream.Dark chocolate truffles are beautiful cubes hand cut and thoroughly coated/dusted with cocoa powder which makes it even more bitter-rich taste.Eat more dark chocolate, it helps reduce stress, makes you happier.
