The girlfriend and I were thrilled when we saw Thai Express opened at the basement of Clementi Mall. We decided to head in to try this outlet. As we went before dinner time, the restaurant was pretty quiet. We were seated in no time. We ordered the Sa-Nook Set cos we both could not get enough of the Green Curry Chicken Ball. I think it is pretty unique, did not see it any other Thai restaurants. I ordered the set meal with the Honey Chicken. The portion of the Honey Chicken was quite ok, about three large pieces. the chicken was very tender, cooked to perfection. I like the Honey sauce they coat on the chicken. They were very generous with the thai chilli dip. i was glad to be able to fully coat the green curry chicken ball in it.

This thai express really does need to hire more staff. It was a Friday night and there were only three staffs taking order and 1 manager. The place was not too big but the staff could not handle the crowd. Despite having empty tables in the restaurant, they were just too busy to sit us so we had to wait some time to get seated. I thought by ordering the set meal, the food will be served faster, but the wait was also quite long and the green curry ball was a little overcooked, the colour was too dark. But the red tom yum soup tasted really good, spicy and sour. Goes well with rice.
