Welcome to Western Casual dining platform, Hot Tomato Express aimed to bring their customers to a perfect combination of comfort ambience, good quality of food and reasonable price. Having been Plaza Sing almost every bi-weekend, I decided on Hot Tomato for tonight’s dinner. Menu used the grilled item as primary one, every food item had a brief description beside. Friendly staffs were attentive, readily to help whenever we waved our hands or tried to catch their attentions.Nicely tossed with Italian cum Western cuisine, I opted for noodles and lettuce to accompany my main dish. Chicken thigh was huge while well-marinated, flavourful and tender juicy. Teriyaki sauce was awesomely enhanced the taste, fresh meat absorbed entirely. I would not say it was the best pasta I met, but still acceptable at least it tasted decent with nothing to scream of. The set was $7.90, affordable dinner in town.

First visit at this outlet in PS. Was there during weekday lunch, 1215pm, still plenty of seats. however the seats filled up fast.I ordered the steak with spaghetti today , with the lunch special upgrade +$2.50.I wanted my steak to be medium cooked, but the meat looks rather red inside and i thought it looks perhaps more to medium rare. The taste is still good despite that and with the spag and fresh greens make up a complete decent meal.The upgrade is for a soup with bread and a drink. We had tomato soup today. yummy! slightly sour, very appetizing.The lime juice that i opted for is a tat too sour for me.Overall a busy lunch place with quality yet affordable western food.

Hot Tomato is a safe choice if you're craving for affordable, good Western food. I usually order the steak & pasta combo but this time round I wasn't feeling that hungry.Instead, I tried the barramundi and prawn with olive rice. It's pretty filling and the barramundi was pretty well prepared - crispy skin on the outside, fresh smooth fish meat on the inside. They could've given more prawns, maybe one more, but oh well. Olive rice was a little dry but hey, it's olive rice. Can't expect much for truly healthy food right?

Headed over to Hot Tomato for a quick lunch with my boyfriend one afternoon! At first it was super empty when we reached. Roughly around 12.30pm, but the restaurant got filled up very quickly in a while!I was attracted to this place by the flyer I got while I was walking to Plaza sing. I thought the price was really cheap and since we want to settle our lunch quick, we went over without a second thought. Student meal FTW!! Hehehe. Nonetheless, they still have promotions to attract the working adults to dine here too. Generally, the prices are cheap. Our student meal comes with ice lemon tea, free flow. A tad too sweet, taste like syrup. We also ordered some sides to fill our stomach! Garlic bread $3.90 The portion is great, there are 6 slices in total for $3.90. Not bad. Mashed potato $3.90 It's a little plain for this though. But there was a huge portion for this though. So if you are a fan of mashed potato, you were where you want to go. Sirloin Steak 'N' Agio Olio $9.50 This was surprisingly good! I had the beef meat medium and it was still quite raw. Nonetheless, the steak was pretty well done and the portion was great. I couldn't finish too! For a price of $9.50 for this, I think it's a good deal Drizzle the mushroom sauce over the steak improves the mouthfeel by quite a bit. Fish 'N' Chips $9.50 Compared to that of the Sirloin steak, I think the portion of this was just nice, not too much and not too less. Again, fish 'n' chips usually taste similar. Personally, I like to dip the fish into the mayonnaise and it turned out pretty good! The fries was surprisingly good as well. Soft and mushy. The total bill fetch less than $30. For two person with quite a few things, it's really fine. Probably something to be aware of is that you have to order your sides wisely. Their soup looks good from what I see from the table next to me. Overall, I think the food here fetches very affordable and justifiable price. They have promotions for working adults too! This cost only $9.90 with sausage and pork meat. The pork meat was very tender tasty while having it with the sauce, it's doubled the taste! Hot dog was awesome too. A little soft but it was very delicious too. They are all very well spiced up. The aglio Olio Pasta was superb! I like this type of pasta a lot! It has the olive oil, with herbs and spice that makes me feel like I'm having a very healthy food! The salad was very fresh and tasty too!Overall this meal is a bom! :}
