After watching the "Mian dui Mian" at Channel 8, was looking to try this stall... ... ...Kinda of disappointed with it, this is the worst hokkien mee i had try...I don't see what the fuss is about this stall...Could it be that so far all the reviewers are biased??It's so tasteless, the only thing I can review is their chili which taste excellence that you have to mix well with...I'll kinda regret to drop by... 繼續閱讀

I always ordered a plate of fried hokkien mee with an extra egg, costing $3 in total. Delightfully topped with generous servings of fresh prawns, so tong and fried egg, the mouthwatering noodles are exceptionally flavorful and impressively fried with a distinctive charred fragrance. The savory chilli paste is sweet and spicy and complements the tasty noodles very well. 繼續閱讀

Decided to try this stall's ban mian as I had tried their fried hokkien mee before. fried hokkien mee was not too bad but not the best i had tasted, can try out yourself the stall owner , middle age man and supposing his wife, quite friendly people. The bian mian had many ingredients, which is a pleasant surprise given the price $3/bowl. They gave one chinese mushroom for each bowl, not that common for ban mian. The noodles are cooked just nice with the right softness. Soup is tasty with not that much MSG. i like the ikan bilis, crispy and is a must take with ban mian. 繼續閱讀

I was here at this food centre one evening and spotted a queue right in front of this stall and thus joined in out of curiosity. And, i finally got my plate of fried hokkien mee 15 minutes later. Wanna make a guess how much is this plate of fried hokkien mee? the answer is $3.00. I got such a big portion with 4 medium sized prawns for only $3.00. i think that explained why there is always a queue even during the off peak period. The noodle is well flavored, nicely simmered in the robust prawn stock. Every mouthful is definitely an enjoyment. The sambal chilli complemented really well with the noodle and not overtaking the flavor. It might not be the best but i enjoyed eating it. 繼續閱讀
