Riverwalk Tandoor offers a buffet of more than 10 different kinds of Indian dishes and curries. There was papadum, an Indian cracker that I love. But because they were left in the open and weren't covered, they softened really quickly There was vegetable soup, and also sliced raw vegetables such as radish, tomato, cucumber, carrot & onion, and yoghurt and mint sauce. For the carbs, there was biryani, steamed rice and naan. For the main dishes and curries, there was mutton, fish and two chicken dishes, and the rest were vegetarian. I had the mutton curry which was not bad, while the chicken tandoori was a little dry and tough. For the vegetarian dishes, I had snakeguard curry, cottage cheese and potato curry, and another dish of spinach and kang kong cooked till soft. Overall I liked the vegetarian dishes a lot more. There was also this crispy thing as appetizer which was really nice. Not too sure what exactly it was.To end off the meal, there were assorted cut fruits like watermelon, papaya, honey dew, and 2 kinds of dessert - a sweet milky liquid with beehoon-like strands and pastry balls soaked in syrup. The pastry balls were extremely sweet. 繼續閱讀

My dad was craving for Indian food and so my family went to have a buffet lunch at Riverwalk Tandoor. I find that their range of buffet food items are quite limited and not what I expected at an indian buffet. I started off my feast with their papadum, which is one of my favourite indian snack, and their assorted naans! My favourite is the garlic flavoured one. We then ordered some drinks and all of us got their lassi. Both their mango and banana lassi is good but the sweet lassi and the salty lassi tasted weird! I went off to take some curry for my naans. Out of this four curries, my favourite is the Fish Methi, which is a boneless fish cooked with fenugreek leaf and some indian spices. The fish is soft and so tasty! I went back to get additional servings of it! Another one I like is the aloo chat, which are spicy potatoes and chickpeas with mint and yogurt sauce. I like Jeera rice but they do not serve it there so I got a serving of their Saffron rice instead, which is essentially basmatic rice cooked with saffron. Their Tandoori chicken is too spicy for me and it is quite dry. Other items include the Mixed Shakeguard and Borocolli Mushroom. I was so excited to see my favourite indian dessert being served there, the Gulab Jamun! They are basically milk balls deep fried and soaked in sugar syrup. So sinful but so shiok! They are served hot which makes them so heavenly! I find them to be the indian version of donuts floating in warm sweet syrup I also got the pudding to try, which tasted very average. Ending off with a good cup of their Masala Tea! 繼續閱讀

I love Riverwalk Tandoor for their decor, cosy ambiance, authentic indian food that does not stnge on variety as well, excellent service as well as resonable prices! We opted for the buffet dinner which was seriously worth every cent!It consisted of a decent number of vegetarian as well as non vegetarian items. There was also a variety of sauces as well as appetizers. Titles of dishes were clearly stated below each pot. The pots also kept the food pipping hot. The restaurant was clean and staff were very prompt with both water re-fill's as well as clearing of plates. The biryani rice was aromatic yet not overbearing. One of my favorites dishes are the palak paneer which is basically spinach with indian cheese. The spinach is well cooked which would make spinach-hater's give this dish another chance. The butter naan's were also very good! soft and fluffy. Gulab Jamun which is a signature dessert here is definitely a must try! It definitely left me craving for more. Overall, it was an enjoyable dining experience and definitely worth the price for a buffet! 繼續閱讀

Riverwalk Tandoor is a nice indian food place. The food served here is kind of a simple fare. You will find one of each type of meats in curry and a number of vegetable dishes, which is not a bad choice for vegetarians. Love the mutton curry! It was excellent! The naans were good too! Great food! 繼續閱讀

Last Friday was my very first time stepping into Riverwalk Tandoor. I've walked past the restaurant countless times before and have in fact, seen promotions a couple of times on daily deal sites. However, it was only with my dad's birthday that I considered trying out this place. After all, I've read good reviews about it and it's pretty affordable for a buffet as well.So we called them and made a reservation at 7pm for dinner. When we arrived, the place was still relatively empty, with maybe just 4-5 occupied tables. The service staff there were very friendly and welcoming, making it an overall very pleasant dining experience. They were quick to refill our water glasses, quick to clear our plates and very responsive. To our amazement, the crowd started pouring in at around 8pm and there was a mix of caucasian tourists, indian tourists and locals. Not what we would expect of a typical Indian restaurant like that in Little India. The food was superb! The curries and gravies were so fragrant from the spices, and the meats were well-marinated and tender. The spread was no doubt a gourmand's dream come true.So much so, we wouldn't be the least bit surprised if the restaurant was started by a Indian national. It was indeed a cultural experience for us - the food, the decor, everything was authentic.Would I return? Definitely. 繼續閱讀
